I just thought this was so cool!!
Faster than a melting glue stick,
more powerful with E6000,
and able to leap craft stores in a single bound...
When in doubt, add some fucking GLITTER!!!

Even More Baby Love!!
The baby arrived last night! Two weeks early!! She is just the cutest little bug ever!!
What does this mean for the shower? That it gets pushed back two weeks, and that I get more time to finish the favors!!

Baby Love
Things have been pretty hectic around here. I've been asked to (literally) take over the planning of the baby shower for BaNanner. She denied that she was pregnant for so long that there was very little time left to actually plan a shower.
Anywhooo... I have planned the shower. I am working on the favors. I am working on a blanket for the baby. I never understood the purpose of taking a skein of yarn and rollling it into a ball.
Until today.
This is what my friend Katnip gets for mentioning that she used to roll the yarn for her grandmother when she was a kid.
Result:
(it seems that I may have broken the yarn when I was trying to find the start of the yarn)

Shower Favors
I wanted to make nice favors that everyone would love. Here is what I created:
Quick little tutorial
I used flower pot votive holders. Spread a thin layer of glue on the thick rim of the cup (I used Aleene's Original Tacky Glue. Roll the votive in beads, being sure to cover the glue entirely. Don't be afraid to move the beads around. Let dry for about 24 hours.
Be sure to fill in any blank spots with a drop of glue and bead(s). Fill with candy and a candle (or whatever you like), place two tulle circles on top, wrap with ribbon. I bought some novelty pink baby pins and pacifiers from a dollar store and used those to embellish the favor.
Don't forget to add the tag with the date!! (I did that on this one)

My first ATC
This was done for a Scavenger Hunt ATC
Basically, craftsters are given a list of items to use while creating an ATC (Artist Trading Card). This one is in honor of women's heart disease awareness.
